The Lazy Days of Summer (Blogging)

What is it about summer that tosses all normalcy up in the air and doesn't let it drop until after Labor Day? TV networks don't run any new shows, school's out, everybody goes on vacation, and the temps go up.

I haven't blogged nearly as much this summer as I would have liked. Of course, I'm still doing better than some of ya'll. You know who you are. ;-)

In the spirit of trying to keep you updated on stuff, I now submit my "quick hits" version of ASLT:R.....
  1. I have a girlfriend. Her name is Glenda, we've known each other since elementary school, and reconnected back in June. It's been lots of fun ever since. I see lots of potential there.
  2. Stuff with the router project at work has been a bit bumpy. The vendor under-engineered the system and we've been in discussions with them about how it's going to be remedied. There's a big meeting this afternoon about it.
  3. My sister's campaign is going well. She actually found out that her opponent hasn't voted in 20 years. He's trying to play it off as no big deal, but she and thousands of veterans know better.
  4. There is no 4.
Now, time to get ready for work.

  • Congratulations with Glenda. It's interesting actually, I found out a week ago that a young man on the NIN fan club boards, A.J., who is a good friend of mine, had a crush on me. We talked for 10 hours Saturday night, between iChat and phones. So, it looks like we're both doing well. :)

I hope to hear from you soon, buddy. I miss our phone talks.
